Daylily Ferris Wheel

Daylily Ferris Wheel

An oldie, but a goodie; Ferris Wheel will really pop in the back of your border. The scapes are very tall at 40” and the huge 6” flowers are bright red with a large gold throat. They are considered spiders with a ratio of 5:30:1 but the petals are a little wider than some spiders showing even more of that gorgeous red. This dormant diploid blooms mid-season but extends into the later season as well and, bonus, it is fragrant.
