Daylily Chicago Apache

Daylily Chicago Apache

This is an eye catching velvet red daylily with a yellow throat that will bloom a little later than most. The 5” flowers on this dormant tetraploid are held atop 30” scapes. The plant will be a little darker and I think a bit nicer in a little shade and will be more claret red in full sun and the white to pink mid rib will show up a bit more.

Daylily Baja

Daylily Baja

This plants huge 6 inch, bright red blooms, on 2.5 foot scapes, really stand out in the garden.  This red will not fade or spot in the sun like some do.  The throat is golden as are the stamens and there is a thin gold mid-rib.  A prolific bloomer; it is a semi-evergreen; tetraploid.

This plant has large fans so an order will be two fans rather than my normal three.

Daylily Autumn Red

Daylily Autumn Red

A large daylily at nearly 3 feet; Autumn Red is an unusual daylily that has stunning red 4- to 5-inch non-fading blooms and gold star like throats.  The gold in the throat is carried down the mid rib in a gold line nearly to the tip of the narrow petals.  It is a profuse mid-summer repeat bloomer.  It does this with sufficient reliability to be categorized as ever-blooming.  Dormant, diploid.
